Oswego's Own Comedy Club launches humor magazine at River's End on Tuesday
Oswego's Own Comedy Club will hold a free evening of stand-up, sketches and improv at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at River's End Bookstore, 19 W. Bridge St., to celebrate the first issue of the humor magazine Illustrated Thoughts, according to a release from Nicholas Gentile. The magazine is written and designed by campus comedians and illustrated by Via Gacio-Perreto, and free copies will be handed out while supplies last; no reservation is needed. Club president Jacob Wallach called the magazine "just the miracle panacea to ease you through flu season." The release says the magazine was made possible through PORTfolio, a pocket-sized-publications initiative Gentile facilitates, and a 2026 Statewide Community Regrant through CNY Arts, Inc.
