Eligible iPhone buyers can file claims in Apple's $250 million AI settlement through Dec. 21
People who bought certain iPhone models between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025 can file claims in Apple's $250 million settlement over how it advertised Apple Intelligence until Dec. 21, 2026, CNET reported. The models are the iPhone 16, 16E, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, and each qualifying iPhone needs its own claim. CNET says payouts of $25 to $95 per device are expected, that claims are filed at SmartphoneAISettlement.com, and that people the settlement administrator, Verita, has identified as eligible will receive email or postal notices.
