U.S. moves to bar DeepSeek from federal agencies
The Trump administration has barred civilian U.S. government agencies from using products or services from Chinese artificial intelligence startup DeepSeek, Bloomberg reported. Bloomberg describes the startup's more affordable open-weight models as posing an increasing challenge to Silicon Valley developers.
