VOTE Oswego holds a drop-in voting help session at Penfield Library
VOTE Oswego, partnering with Penfield Library, is holding an event called "Don't Ghost Democracy" on Oct. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m., where people can come at any point to check whether their voter registration is active, ask voting questions and see live printing of sample ballots, according to The Oswegonian. The paper reports that Oct. 24 is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming election, and that the group's Linktree lists the candidates on the local ballot with links to their websites and videos. Event coordinator Professor Karen Oakes is quoted as saying "voting is not a pop quiz."
