Anglesey pupils who designed a badge sent to space meet a NASA astronaut by video
Pupils at Ysgol Cemaes, a primary school on Anglesey in Wales, put questions to NASA astronaut Frank Rubio in a virtual session on Wednesday, the BBC reported. Rubio, who is set to be part of the crew for the Artemis III mission, spent more than a year aboard the International Space Station, 371 days, after a fault with the spacecraft due to bring him back, according to the BBC. The pupils took part earlier this year in a project to design a badge that was sent to the space station, and acting headteacher Guto Rhys said they were "extremely excited" ahead of the meeting. The school plans to design a new badge to send up next year, the BBC said.
