Enes Kanter Freedom says he was denied entry to WNBA Finals Game 3 after declining a private suite

Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom said in a video posted to social media that he was denied entry to Game 3 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta on Wednesday night after declining to sit in a private suite offered to him by the Dream and State Farm Arena, CBS Sports reported. State Farm Arena said in a statement before the game that Freedom had contacted federal, state and local authorities, the WNBA, the Dream and arena officials with concerns about his personal safety, and that after consultation it had directed him to watch from a private luxury suite with additional security. An arena public relations official told ESPN, as CBS relayed it, that he "was offered the suite for his safety and he rejected it," while Freedom said in his video that security was "banning us from our purchased seats." CBS also reported that Freedom was ejected from a Chicago Sky game in August after a verbal altercation with a player.
