Cole Knuble scored his first two NHL goals and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Buffalo Sabres 3-1 at KeyBank Center on Wednesday, NHL.com reported. The Flyers (3-6-3) have won three straight after opening the season with nine consecutive losses, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia, and Jason Zucker scored in his season debut for the Sabres (4-4-2), whose four-game point streak ended. Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff said the team "missed the net too often," and the Sabres' website reported they missed the net 12 times.
