The Oswego Common Council passed Resolutions 340 to 346 on Monday, Oct. 26 with seven yes votes each, according to the results announced at the meeting. They approved the minutes of the Oct. 13 meeting, appointed a Commissioner of Deeds, allowed the Oswego County Department of Social Services to install a banner at the Anthony J. Crisafulli Ice Rink, approved a temporary ramp at 29 West Oneida Street and the Stoneledge Halloween Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31, and let the city chamberlain transfer funds from the Water Enterprise Fund to buy water meters. The agenda gave no amount for the transfer. The council also amended its rules to add a public session to committee meetings (Resolution 346) and approved the GHD engineering contract on a 5-1 vote with one abstention (Resolution 347), the last item. The meeting had no unfinished business and adjourned.
