Anduril and Qualcomm announced a laptop called BlueChip on Tuesday, with preorders planned for 2027, TechCrunch reported. Anduril founder Palmer Luckey said the laptop's bill of materials was about 90% U.S. and allied-country content, with a technical roadmap to 100% domestic over time, and Anduril said the processor, a Snapdragon X Series chip, is built at TSMC's new facility in Arizona. The first model is a rugged laptop aimed at military, government, first-responder and law-enforcement buyers; pricing was not announced, and Luckey estimated it at about 20% above typical high-end PCs. Luckey said Anduril had not finished contracting with all its component suppliers and that the display is one of several components made only in China today. All of these figures and plans are the companies' statements as TechCrunch relayed them.
