Saudi Arabia said two terminals at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh reopened Sunday, with Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights by national carriers, The Independent reported. Operations had been suspended on Oct. 10 after an attack the Houthis claimed, which left 13 people dead, The Independent reported; Africanews reported that an attack on the airport this month killed 13 and wounded more than 300. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the airport would "never be safe" and was a military target, both outlets reported. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted two drones and a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh and a cruise missile aimed at Khamis Mushait on Sunday, and later said it intercepted 10 ballistic missiles fired toward southern Saudi Arabia, The Independent reported; the Houthis said they attacked the airport and Saudi oil facilities on Saturday, and Saudi authorities did not comment directly on those statements, the paper reported. Saudi civil defense said shrapnel from two intercepted missiles injured two people, and flight-tracking data from Flightradar24 showed little traffic at the airport Sunday, The Independent reported.
