Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou on Sunday in El Clásico, with Kylian Mbappé credited with both goals, according to the Guardian, Reuters (carried by Channel News Asia) and AFP (carried by Al Jazeera and Arab News). The first, in the 41st minute, came when a cross from Yan Diomandé was met by Barcelona's Gerard Martín, who the Guardian said got there first but could only hit it against Mbappé and into the net; Reuters and AFP described Martín's clearance bouncing or deflecting off Mbappé into the goal. Raphinha equalised for Barcelona in the 61st minute, CNA reported, and Mbappé scored the winner three minutes from the end, which the Guardian put at the 87th minute after Jude Bellingham's pass found Eduardo Camavinga, who pulled the ball back. It was Barcelona's first league game without a win this season, ending a run of nine that the Guardian called record-equalling, and the first time they had failed to win any game since returning to the Camp Nou a year ago, the Guardian said. CNA reported that the result cut Barcelona's lead to three points, with Barcelona on 27 points, Atletico Madrid on 26 and Real Madrid third on 24. The sources count Mbappé's goals differently: the Guardian called the winner his 10th goal against Barcelona, AFP described the first goal as his 10th league goal of the season, and CNA called the second his 11th league goal in 10 matches. José Mourinho, Madrid's coach, said, according to the Guardian, that he would not let his players get carried away.
