Steelers beat the Saints 16-10 in the NFL's first regular-season game in Paris
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New Orleans Saints 16-10 at the Stade de France on Sunday in the NFL's first game in Paris, CBS Sports reported. Sky Sports said Aaron Rodgers passed Peyton Manning for the third-most touchdown passes in NFL history in the game. CBS said Rodgers is the first quarterback to play an international game in three countries in three straight seasons: London in 2024, Dublin in 2025 and Paris in 2026. Sky said 2026 has a record nine international NFL games, with Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro as new host cities and Madrid, Munich and Mexico City next, and that commissioner Roger Goodell said on Friday the league plans a Tokyo game in 2027 or 2028. Awful Announcing said safety was a focus all week because of civil unrest in France and that the game went ahead without incident.
