A recording of Fulton's Oct. 30 council meeting shows a ward vote on moving $16,500 from codes to the legislative board, with no result announced
The Fulton Common Council held a special meeting Friday, Oct. 30, on 16 amendments to the proposed 2027 General Fund budget, Oswego County Today reported from the agenda. One resolution, as read on a recording of the meeting posted by Dot Publishing, would decrease the codes department's personal services account by $16,500, from $353,866 to $337,366, and increase the legislative board's personal services account by $16,500, from $46,470 to $62,970. The resolution was moved and seconded; the recording does not name the mover or the seconder. Called by ward, the Second, Third, Fifth and Sixth wards answered no and the Fourth Ward answered yes; the First Ward's answer is not clear on the recording. The chair announced no result before calling the next item. At the same meeting the council directed the city clerk chamberlain to advertise again for sealed gasoline and diesel fuel bids, due by 2 p.m. Nov. 20, 2026, and to be opened publicly at 2:15 p.m. that day; an earlier notice had set an Oct. 27 deadline. As of Tuesday morning, Nov. 3, the city had posted no agenda, minutes or recording of the meeting on its website.
