Switzerland's Consumer Price Index rose 0.2 percent in October from September, to 101.7 points (December 2025 = 100), and inflation was 1.5 percent compared with October 2025, the Federal Statistical Office said in a release on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The office attributed the monthly rise in part to higher prices for heating oil, petrol and diesel, along with footwear and hospital outpatient services; prices for medical services at local surgeries, international package holidays and hotels fell.
