Toddler snack bars, ashwagandha capsules and ground cinnamon are recalled for choking, salmonella and lead risks
Three companies recalled products in notices posted by the Food and Drug Administration between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2: Once Upon a Farm's Tractor Wheels toddler bars for a choking hazard, Vitality Works' 365 Whole Foods Market ashwagandha capsules for possible salmonella, and SLR Food Distribution's Wise Wife ground cinnamon for elevated lead. Vitality Works and SLR said no illnesses had been reported, and Once Upon a Farm said no injuries had been reported.
Once Upon a Farm of Berkeley, California, recalled all lots and varieties of its fruit-flavored Tractor Wheels Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars, saying the bars can quickly turn into a dense, sticky mass with saliva, a potential choking hazard for toddlers ages 1.5 to 2.5. The recall covers 5-count and 10-count cartons in Strawberry, Pumpkin & Beet and Apple, Sweet Potato & Spinach, 5-count Banana, Pumpkin & Cauliflower, 20-count and 30-count variety packs and three online-only sampler packs, including expired product, with unexpired best-by dates from 10/30/2026 to 8/26/2027. The company cited three choking complaints reported to the FDA and said consumers should not open the package and should return it for a refund or contact care@uponafarm.com or 1-888-983-1606.

It was sold at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide and on Amazon.com from Nov. 24, 2025, to Oct. 20, 2026; the company said to discard it and get a refund at any Whole Foods Market store.
