Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell remained in a local hospital on Monday after a neck injury in Sunday's 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings, the team said. "Preliminary indications are positive," the Lions said in a statement, adding that out of respect for Campbell and his family they would not share further information. He was carted off the field on a backboard in the fourth quarter, the Associated Press reported. Head coach Dan Campbell visited him in the hospital on Sunday night and told reporters on Monday the news was positive, the Lions' website reported. The injury came on the first play of the fourth quarter, according to the team's site; the AP said early in the fourth quarter. The Guardian reported that Campbell was treated on the field for nine minutes. The Lions play at Miami on Sunday.
